Wellbeing in Organisations - helping to promote positive mental wellbeing and manage psychosocial risks
We provide support, solutions and targeted initiatives to help organisations, leaders and team members optimise and enhance mental wellbeing, and guard against stress and burnout
Who would benefit from Wellbeing in Organisations?
We work with small and medium sized businesses as well as large organisations who wish to create conditions where employees can thrive, experiencing high levels of vitality, the motivation to learn and the desire to perform strongly. We have experience working with private sector, government and not for profit organisations.
We know that everyone has a role to play, both in looking after their own mental health and in creating a mentally healthy environment. Therefore we work with both leaders and their team members to support positive approaches to mental health and wellbeing.
Why is this program valuable?
From research, we know that mentally healthy workplaces improve staff morale and engagement, reduce staff turnover, improve relationships and collaboration, and boost productivity and performance. Leaders of teams play a crucial role in establishing an environment of safety, of checking in regularly on the wellbeing of their team members, and in providing support when needed.
Organisations also have a legal responsibility to maintain and improve health, safety and wellbeing at work (ISO 45003 Psychological Health & Safety in the Workplace).
There are established factors in workplaces that are risks to mental health. Unchecked, they can lead to mental distress, anxiety, demotivation, a sense of powerlessness, mistrust or conflict. These factors include:
Job Demands
demands are greater than a team member’s capacity to cope
workplace relationships
unhelpful interactions or disparate ways of working inhibit teamwork, collaboration or delivery
job control or job clarity
confusion about role requirements, or low influence and autonomy on tasks or methods
organisational change
inadequate or ineffective consultation, communication or consideration of team members during a change
support from leaders
unskilful leadership or lack of leadership affecting a team member’s capacity to fulfil their responsibilities
reward and recognition
a lack of constructive feedback or appreciation, or a sense of purposelessness in a team member’s role
“By focusing on employee wellbeing, organisations not only enhance mental health and job satisfaction but also cultivate a thriving, sustainable and high-performing culture”
Our promise

Relationships - establishing meaningful connections at work, developing empathy and respectful ways of working and communicating to promote collaboration

Job crafting - co-designing approaches to shape people’s work and create ways of working that help them reach their potential
Wellbeing - building healthy habits and prioritising self care
Mental agility - building resilience, emotional control and helpful mindsets to handle reasonable workplace stressors
Energy – managing energy and work flow to work smarter, not harder
Meaning – connecting roles to purpose and significance for engagement and job satisfaction
How is Wellbeing in Organisations delivered?
There is no single ‘recipe’ for implementing an integrated approach to wellbeing as each organisation is unique and will require a strategy that is tailored and context appropriate.
Multiple actions, tailored to an organisation’s specific needs, are likely to be more impactful. We can also work with organisations in taking small steps over a period of time if this is more manageable or realistic. Creating a mentally healthy workplace can take time.

The women completed the workshop sessions feeling invigorated and engaged. I would highly recommend them to other commercial groups looking for similar services”
“Coaching has helped me develop wellbeing and resilience to a level which far exceeds my initial expectations. The most valuable outcome has been that I have developed better emotional control (especially managing my anxiety at work) through self-care and, establishing boundaries, and understanding my strengths. Coaching has helped me to identify and refine ways in which I can leverage my natural strengths to improve my confidence at work.”
“The Bouncing Back and Going Strong program was an opportunity for our staff to stop and evaluate their current situation.
